A. How to order a Bespoke Sword Cane -

There is no specific order form for our range of Custom Canes, it would be a one on one discussion via email to decide on the model, handle choice and level of embellishment and budget you would like to work to.

We have many different styles and options for personalizing our range of quality canes as can be seen in my file photos on this site. With over 65 years of combined experience in hand engraving, design, layout and building of the world’s finest bespoke canes I will guide and advice you on the best way forward, once we have established a basic design concept, and assure you of only the best advice. Please understand that each Custom Cane is hand built from scratch. This level of old world craftsmanship takes time! The average build time for a "Full House" best grade hand engraved custom cane is one to four months pending engraving details and option for 24K gold inlay. Work only starts once we have finalized all details and the 50% deposit has been secured. I use only the finest hand selected components for these bespoke custom canes with many hours of dedication to the finest details and attention to fit and finishes making your BURGER CUSTOM CANE a truly UNIQUE ONE OFF BESPOKE CANE and Family heirloom. As many clients have remarked…..simply- ”functional art”

B. What levels of Custom Hand Engraving do we offer?

We offer two levels of Custom Hand Engraving for our quality range of canes -

1. Starting with the most economical option to personalize any of our canes is with the Hand Dremil Engraving. This involves free hand engraving in a beautiful script style font of name/initials and date or short motto. This style of hand dremil engraving is best suited for the double edged rapier style BLADES found on our MK2-MK3- MK4 -Ti Stiletto and Country Cane/Hiker Staff model range. This level of Custom Hand Engraving will set back the shipping date of the order by approximately ten days – and starts at $140-

2. The other custom engraving option I offer is for the handle of your cane, best suited for our most popular and versatile Ball & Flute Turned Tamboti handle. We engrave initials or basic logo/design on the dome of Tamboti handle in a semi deep relief style – Starting at $130- adds approximately five days to the shipping date.

C. Bespoke Best Grade Hand Engraving -

This is the next level we offer involving the time honoured art of hammer and chisel free Hand Engraving. This level of best grade hand engraving is only recommended for our MK2 models and up. As explained in my introduction this level of old world craftsmanship takes time!
With the most popular layout for custom engraving breaking down as follows-

1. Full House Hand Engraving - Incorporates Best Grade Hand Engraving in semi deep relief on all components of the cane. Depending on handle choice we engrave the dome and lower flute of the custom titanium handle incorporating initials, name, Custom Logo or Family Crest. Custom Engraving of handle is best suited to the Titanium and 925 Sterling Silver handle with the latter hand cast silver handle only offering engraving on the centre dome. We also engrave the custom Tee handle end caps for our two bespoke Tee handle offerings. With matching engraving carried over to the collars of the cane, release button and ferrule/tip.

Price on request- depending on the style of engraving and 24K gold inlay options. 
2. The engraving style can also be carried over to the blade, this includes both sides of the blade to an approximate length of 110mm (4,5") depending on the design.

3. Another very Unique Custom Option Burger Canes has to offer is the very rare and unique- STAINLESS DAMASCUS BLADE upgrade in the ODIN'S EYE pattern, we only build this custom option into our Top End Classic MK3 - Discreet MK4 & Ti Stiletto model range. These unique Damascus blades compliment Best Grade hand engraving beautifully or is just a bespoke addition to an already unique piece of functional art.- Price on request.
The building of a Full House BEST-GRADE Hand Engraved Custom Canes takes time, between two and twelve months to complete depending on the level and style of hand engraving, all Custom Canes would require a 50% deposit to get custom work started and design and layout finalized. With over 50 years of combined experience in hand engraving, design, layout and building of the world’s finest bespoke custom canes I assure you of only my finest craftsmanship and attention to detail on all custom canes.
